Wood Floating Floor
Model RIM System wood floated floors are ideally suited for dance studios, loft style condominiums, recording studios, and any other application where high performance noise control is required and the structure cannot support the weight of an isolated concrete slab. A Model RIM System floated wood floor surpasses performance of continuous underlayments due to the airspace and lower natural frequency created by the Model KIP Pads spaced at 12-, 16-, or 24-inches on center. Model RIM System can be supplied to fit any load condition. Installation is easy and quick due to the pre-spaced Model KIP Pads . Moreover, the natural frequency remains relatively constant over a wide range of loads, which is common in wood built construction (i.e. a piano in a music studio). Vibro EP Floating Floor
VIBRO EP elastic pad is made from a special rubber compound so as to achieve vibration isolation improvement and durability. Its longitudinal holes increase the provided compression rate and improve vibration absorption. It can be used in different dimensions and layers that match effectively each vibration isolation application.
A resilient composite batten floor system for use with Robust Detail floor construction types MF1 (E-FC-1), MF8
(E-FC-2) and SF2 (E-FS :1). There are two types - type FFT1 resilient composite deep batten and type FFT3 resilient
composite standard batten. It has been tested and is certified to provide the necessary acoustic insulation required
for compliance with Part ‘E’ of the building regulations for RD floor types. The battens comprise a resilient layer prebonded to standard (50mm x 50mm nominal) battens or deep (50mm x 70mm nominal) battens.
A resilient overlay shallow platform floor system (Type FFT5) for use with Robust Detail floor construction types E-FC-
1, E-FC-2 and E-FS :1. It has been tested and is certified to provide the necessary acoustic insulation required for
compliance with Part ‘E’ of the building regulations for these RD floor types. Panels comprise a resilient layer prebonded
to 18mm or 22mm T & G flooring grade chipboard.
